'It's Friday, Friday'

I've literally been waiting all week to post about this song.

Just take a peek, and I'll explain...

So, this is Rebecca Black.
She is a mere 13 years old.
And a few days ago, her name was trending on Twitter.
Now I know why.

These were my immediate thoughts:
1. Her auto-tuned voice is annoying.
2. No one is ever that straightforward with lyrics.
3. If you're 13, how can your friends drive.
4. Just pick a damn seat in the car.
5. I learned my days of the week in preschool, thanks.
6. At her age, you shouldn't be 'getting down' at any time.
7. Why would anyone let themselves be internationally embarrassed like this?
Ever?!

Nonetheless, the lyrics will stick in your head.
And that's annoying for such a terrible song.

So don't forget...
'Yesterday was Thursday (Thursday),
today it is Friday (Friday)...
Tomorrow is Saturday,
and then Sunday comes afterwards.'

Rebecca Black is excited. Are you?

Conquering the Humpday Hill

I'm not going to lie, it's been a pretty terrible week so far.

So much stress,
so little sleep,
and too much crappy food.

Here's a sample of the randomness that helps me get over the blah...

As if the original version of this music video isn't tripped-out enough,
this "literal interpretation" is quite hilarious.
I get a kick out of it every time :)

This song is popular in my suite right now.
Its just so catchy.
And who doesn't secretly love some Enrique ;)

My sister posted this the other day.
So funny.
And it makes me miss her and my nephew so much more!

Hope you are making the best of your humpday!

"Sunday mornin' when the paper comes, let's read it front to back and see what's goin' on..."

So right now I prefer to get my news from these types of outlets...

BUT...

I have been trying to become more...worldly...i guess you could say.
So, I occasionally skim stuff like this...

And now, thanks to my Econ class, i will be required to subscribe to this...

I guess it's time to start paying attention to stuff other than the new fall fashions and Hollywood's best and worst...

Extreme clean

2 weeks from tomorrow,
I move back to Ball State
for my sophomore year of college.

Of course, my room at home has been a
tidy WRECK
all summer.

There was a lot of stuff hiding on my floor...

-multiple loads of laundry
-11 dvd movies/tv season (in their cases luckily!)
-4 vhs tapes
-at least a dozen books
-12 magazines
-lots of trash (ugh!)
-about 5 pairs of flip flops

still searching for: my check book (yikes!)

This is just unacceptable.
I don't have this problem when I'm at school.
(I guess sharing a dorm room makes me feel obligated to be tidier.)

Regardless, I am going to try from this next clean room and forward,
to be more organized and clean when it comes to my living quarters.

(God help me.)
